Performance
The Lifan Engery Storm is just that! AN ENGERY STORM! We plugged it into our 5th Wheel and wala! It ran the AC, TV, ceiling fan and lights all at once. The remote start is a life saver. Won’t have to be going out late at night in the dark to turn it off, just press a button and it turns off. Planning a Memorial weekend camping trip, so will really put it to the test then.
Added oil, gas, and hooked up the battery and started right up. Have since used it for an entire 2015 camping season (25hrs or so).
Packaging
Unit arrived in great shape, added oil and gas and fired right up first time via remote.
Power
Very powerful – was able to run all lights, AC, microwave, etc (at same time) in my travel trailer
Noise Level
Fairly quiet (but not Honda quiet).
I will say that most people at the campground are interested in the brand and have only complimented me on how such a large unit can be so quiet.
Cons
And really the only cons (albeit minor) is that it is still a bit louder than the Honda at idle, and it is extremely heavy. But seeing the price is over 1/2 that of the comparable Honda I’ll live with those 2 issues.
